When ネイグレー premieres, not only will we get to see Maria Sten’s titular character back in action, we’ll also get to see her with a whole new cast of characters. Notably, this show will be different than リーチャー, because it will follow the same set of people if it gets to go on (which could make it a bit deeper than the flagship series). So, when Xebec’s Sarah El-Mahmoud asked グレイストン・ホルト about the potential for crossover during an interview at San Diego Comic-Con, he made a good point about how this new project stands on its own:

In ネイグレー, Holt plays Detective Hudson Riley. He’ll work closely with the titular character, and I’m really looking forward to seeing their dynamic. So, obviously, I’d also like to see how he fits into the greater world of リーチャー.
Meanwhile, Jasper Jones will play Keno in ネイグレー. We don’t know much about his character yet. However, we do know he’d be down to crossover with リーチャー, as he told us at Comic-Con:

I also think it would be fun to see the creative teams flex their muscles a bit to get a crossover going. While we’ve seen ネイグレー a lot on リーチャー, and we know Alan Ritchson’s character will appear in the new spinoff, it’d be interesting to see how ネイグレーの他の共演者が異なる世界のリーチャーと相互作用するのかを見るのは興味深いでしょう。So, in the words of Jasper Jones:

I see Holt’s point about the two shows being different worlds, and I get that リーチャーの全体的な特徴は、物語ごとに舞台を移し、リー・チャイルドの小説を映像化するたびに新しいキャストを起用することだと理解しています。
However, I still think it’d be entertaining to see Hudson Riley or Keno pop up in the world Alan Ritchson’s character runs. If ネイグレーが複数シーズン続くことになり、これら二人が彼女の世界で重要な役割を果たすようなら、初代の番組がすべてを始めた世界で彼らがどう活躍するのかを見るのは素晴らしいでしょう。
For now, however, they’ll be sticking to ネイグレー. But have no fear, you’ll still get some crossover because Alan Ritchson is set to appear in the spinoff. So, make sure you have your Amazon Prime subscription ready, because リーチャー will begin airing Season 4 on August 12, and it will be followed by ネイグレーのシリーズ初公開 on September 16.
